It is recommended that students in grade 5 be responsible for about 30- 45 minutes of homework each night. Actual length depends on many factors but we attempt to have a short math assignment for homework each night and the rest of time should be spent silent reading. We intentionally keep the homework within those areas on most days to be consistent. Communicating with parents at conference time
helps us and students adapt to the homework expectations that are appropriate.

When the American Revolution occurred, A really unlikely victory had happened. That's why I chose the topic. I was wondering what happened in the Revolutionary War. I had questions stuck in my head saying how many people were in the Revolutionary War. And how did America win? I have been researching a lot lately and I found interesting information.

The impact the Declaration had was effective. The colonies won the war against Great Britain now that they were their own independent country and no longer part of Great Britain which means they no longer had to listen to Great Britain or obey their rules they could make their own rules and own laws and not have to listen to King George any longer. They became one step closer to becoming the United States of America.
